What we collect, why, for how long.

SleepTight is a biometric mattress audit. We need a small amount of personal data to run the audit and a smaller amount to deliver it to you. We don't sell, share, or sit on it longer than we need to.

Data inputs

• Fourteen nights of wearable data (HRV, RHR, skin temperature, sleep stages) — pulled once, parsed into a single profile, source token discarded.
• Ten quiz answers describing your sleep position, partner, climate and current bed.
• Your email address, used only to deliver the audit and answer follow-up questions.

Retention

Audit results are kept for 90 days so you can re-open the link. The underlying biometric profile and quiz answers are deleted at the same time. Email is retained until you ask us to remove it; one message and it's gone.

Third parties

None of your data is sold or shared. We use a transactional email provider (Resend) to deliver your audit and an error-reporting tool (Sentry) that never sees inputs. No advertising trackers.

From your wearable.

The Oura / Whoop integration is read-only. We request the last fourteen nights of sleep, recovery and temperature signals, parse them server-side into a single biometric profile, and immediately drop the refresh token. We never write back to your wearable account.

If you connect manually, the same vector is built from the four numbers you typed (duration, latency, wakes, rested 0-10).

What the audit is, and isn't.

The audit is a fit recommendation, not medical advice. SleepTight does not diagnose, treat or otherwise opine on sleep disorders. If you suspect a clinical issue (apnoea, insomnia, RLS) please see a sleep physician.

Confidence numbers are a realistic estimate of how well our inputs constrain the recommendation — they are not warranties. A high-confidence top fit is the best guess from the data available, not a guarantee that the mattress will work for you. Every recommended brand has a trial period; use it.

We may update rankings as the catalogue changes. The audit you receive by email is a snapshot of the day it was generated.

How we make money.

SleepTight earns a referral commission from some of the brands listed when you buy through our link. We rank by fit, not by commission.Brands cannot pay to rank higher. Brands without an affiliate program are included on equal footing; we just don't get paid if you buy.
